Like/Dislike buttons

Thumbs work just fine with Firefox on my iMac.

Doesn't work for me on my pc. Click on the hand, and the vote number doesn't change

No thumbs at all on Android phone and Chrome. But the site is 100 times faster. Laptop and iPad are slower than dial up.

I am sorry I can't help. I have tested it on 4 different devices and 5 different browsers and they all work fine. There are also other members having no problems on a myriad of devices and browsers including Apple products. I'll ask the techs at forumotion who created this software.

I have a Dell, a Windows Surface Book and an Acer all with Windows 10. And when using Internet Explorer 10, I usually see the yes and no hands, one pointing up and the other down and most often it works. However some of the posts don't happen to show the reds hands up and the green hands down. No big deal. What ever the problem is, one of us will figure it out.

For example on this page 3 of 3 on this topic naturally the quote by viejito doesn't have that option and neither do the posts by viejito nor
sm1mex show the hands. I shall go off line and start up another laptop and see if I have the same reaction.

OK I'm on another computer using not Telmex this time but a Telcel connection.

Nothing has changed and my post above also does not have the hands. But no big deal.

You can't see the hands on you own posts until someone likes or dislikes it. I will like it.

This time, everything is working perfectly. the only thing I did was disconnect and go to several other sites, and then played a little solitaire, came back and reconnected and now everything is working as it should.

I have contacted the techs at Forumotion. For those that still have problems and want to resolve it they have requested to see screenshots showing where you don't have the thumbs at all or have the thumbs but no count.

To take a screenshot you hit the "print screen" button on your keyboard then paste it into paint or similar program. Save it as a jpeg picture and attach it to an e-mail.

Yes, the thumbs load last. Did you shut off your computer last night and restart this morning? I am wondering if the reboot solved the problem.

You will notice the drop down menu usually loads last too. The page loads and then adds the custom CCS instructions which in this application are the drop down menu and the thumbs.

No. My PC ran all night. Late last night I noticed it looked like I had all the thumbs on the tablet.

Ah Hah ! It is working for me today. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. But today yes!

Well I suppose if you have a really slow internet connection you could be moving between pages faster than the thumbs are loading.

No problem although I haven't done anything other than talk with the techs at Forumotion. I guess they won't be getting any screenshots showing missing thumbs.........

Wow, somebody did something! The thumbs work and I can get on the site in the usual 2 seconds like every other site. The last 2 days it was at least 2 minutes to get on and the same to navigate the site. However, I have turned off the VPN so I'm guessing that may be the answer.

Yep, the site was loading so slow for you the thumb icons probably timed out. VPN's slow down an already slow internet.....

Well, whatever's clever. I'm getting 10 down and no problems whatever with probably 30 - 40 other sites but this one was impossible. I figured you probably did that to all Newbies, LOL.
