I took the time to learn that our host added these buttons on June 22/20. They activated them to everyone by default. I have gone and inactivated them so as not to cause confusion with our thumbs up/down system. If you want them back let me know.

I want them back and I would like up UpDown thumbs gone. I like to see and be seen when it comes to liking or disliking.

I just tried to dislike Bob's post. And it worked. I figured if I went back and click LIKE, it might cancel the thumbs down message ;)

Bob, I like what you posted, sorry about the thumbs down. I can't cancel it :)


Oh and have seen these thumbs up and down choices for a very long time, maybe years. And I presume it was here. I am not sure

The thumbs up/down are connected to the points system and you can't "like" your own post. The like/dislike buttons are not connected to anything and you can "like" your own post.

The like/dislike buttons are a plus. If you like or dislike an article you should be willing to put your moniker on it.

I agree rafterbr. I "liked" the like and dislike format. The thumbs up and thumbs down not so much.
Actually, I wish their were more choices because sometimes it's just not that simple.

I've learned one thing. You can either push like or dislike. But once you have pressed it, you can't change anything. I tried double clicking, and also I tried to push or click on the arrow/hand pointing in the opposite direction. But nothing happens.
