So, your comments have nothing to do with anyone posting here. You are discussing anonymous whiners out there somewhere?

I trust that the whiners, by my definition, can self-identify.

So the whiners, whoever or wherever they are, can make up the difference if there was nothing keeping them from it.
IMHO......are you really that stupid as your statement indicates or just putting us on.
Maybe the whiners about whiners could make up the difference.

I wrote nothing about the whiners' ability or inability to cover the difference when purchasing goods and services, and I certainly would not demonstrate my deficient English skills by using terminal language to suggest your level of intelligence, IMHO.

Re: Let's start a pool.
This is a really big deal, and it may turn out to be a bigger deal for the US. See a strong dollar on the face looks nice, well its not. It makes all US made good IE exports a heck of a lot more expensive. Wonder what that can do to US manufacturing?
First rule of costs control, is CUT LABOR.
1. Less hours for US workers
2. Less GDP
3. Few over all exports, making imports go up, making the balance even worse.
4. Outside countries goods get cheaper in the US Market, and people buy them.
5. Fewer manufacturing star-ups
6. In the worst case you can have a spiral that does the exact opposite of what you claim to want, jobs in manufacturing.
No a very strong dollar is not something to be overly happy about. If you add some economically unsound idea like a 35% tariff on top of it. Things can get down right apocalyptic. This is why trade and not trade wars have been generally promoted for well about 100 years.
If the US goes down that road, well some people will be saying 1890 wants it econ ideas back lol. So just ill-informed

See, there is the problem. We still do not know what your definition of whining is. What is it that anonymous people somewhere out there are saying about the value of the peso that you consider whining?

The more pesos I get for my US$, the more I put into the Mx. economy; there seems to be at least some degree of 0ffset there, especially when it comes to the service industry
A weaker peso isn't all about YOU.
So much of the manufacturing and technical infrastructure of the economy depends on purchasing equipment from abroad priced in USD or other major currencies. That's the big picture. These are critical for growth and expansion.
This is what will put thousands of people to work/jobs.....not your pension check. Drive around El Salto someday and see where you stack up in the effect on the economy.
Not only are you clueless, but also hopeless.
Your point was well taken and gave me foor for thought. However yuor final line had no relevance other than to just be nasty. Your personal attitude makes you a for to me. Bye.

I defined it earlier, above, and will not bother to repeat myself.

Nothing can make me re-read this thread. It is just not that interesting. In future I will try to stay awake while perusing a thread. However, between you and Clueless it is difficult to not doze off.

Yes, Clueless is best at drawing fire. You do a fairly good job, Zed, but you are inconsistent. Clueless is much more reliable.
