Re: The Dawg Incedent
OH NUTS!.... I was so enjoying going back to school under Prof. Dawg's tutelage in creative writing, but it appears he has once again let his alligator mouth overload his hummingbird patoot!...So, I gather he dropped the F Bomb in the milk and cookies section of this forum, than took great umbrage when told to take it to the combat zone? And I notice his last post about us "Yokeltepeckers" has disappeared from the "Turnip Recipe" thread....Now no doubt Dawg, what with his rapier-quick wit created said post off the top of his head in a few seconds, while I, not possessing such quick faculties, am forced to ponder for hours to come up with a semi-cute response, and having accomplished that task, THEIR IS NOTHING THERE TO WHICH I CAN RESPOND!
Come on Puppy, Admit the error of your ways, eat a little humble pie, and return....Even Lassie came home. All will be forgiven. However, further transgressions may involve Ceasar the Dog Whisper.

...Or perhaps my deduction above is totally in error. Realizing that your post references a LIVE link, I've gone there and found a girl singing a song using the F word...OK. So I'm still lost as to what Dawg did. Enquiring minds want to know.

Re: The Dawg Incedent
Go read the space shuttle thread, now in the Octagon. You'll get the drift.
He was giving us more information than we wanted about his Little Brain and how well they get along.......on the General Forum (open to the public) instead of treating us to his marvelous description of his Southern childhood fun and games on the Octagon, where most idiots would have sense enough to put it in the first place. The mod asked him to move it over there and he went into full out teenager hissybit.
I suspect his momma failed to teach him manners.

"Poo head"? Naah. Anyway, as a reward for politely "requesting" Dawg to put it on the Octagon.........he calls the mod an "idiot".

Well, thank you, Spencer. Coming from an attorney and, bad combination to say the least, money lender, that is a true compliment.

Haha.....I think there is a fair amount of theatrics involved in banking. Just ask Bernie Madoff........

A theatrical career is preferable to a banking career but, as GB infers, both have similar characterisics.
Why are there those who presume they can insult a banker.

Jesus buddy, for the last time.......GB didn't "infer", he "implied". You "inferred" from his "implication". Write on the blackboard 100 times: "The speaker implies, the listener infers". "The speaker implies, the listener infers".

Rather boring I think... yu see, this is what happens when old farts have too much time on their hands plus internet access...It's either this or write silly letters to the Lago & Guad Reporter professing the absolute truth of our particular religion or political affiliation.

So... the Dawg came back, the very next day.

Now, now, ajijic10, you forget that Dawg was a lousy student in a rural South Alabama public high school circa the late 1950s with all of the implications you may wish to infer based on that information. I was lucky to graduate as my interests centered around driving my souped-up 1957 Ford to the county line (I was raised in a "dry" county) at reckless speeds to stock up on Country Club Malt Liquor with my reprobate pals and concentrating together with them on finishing off a case of that prized brew before we got back to my home town´s city limits where the town´s only motorcycle cop (nicknamed "Meatball" because he was also a short order cook at the town´s Greek restaurant) would often station himself to try and catch us bootlegging so we had to finish off that whole case and throw the empty cans out the window which would explain why there was so much litter trashing those rural farm roads in those days.
Looking back at those days, I feel lucky to have survived the 50s and you talk about corruption. Every county surrounding my home county was "wet" so, naturally, there was a bar at every county line on every country back road in every direction in those days and they all sold beer to minors. Dawg did not have to move to Chiapas to find crooked cops but the cops down there in San Cristóbal are so crooked, our barrio president won´t let them come into the neighborhood without the permission of the barrio council.

Well, perhaps in addition to this forum, perhaps repeated postings on ExpatForum.Com and the All Michoacan Info Group Oracle both of which are occasionally amusing, especially when Dawg posts there.
You will not find Dawg posting on the moronic Chapala.Com Forum which is, generally speaking, a regurgitation of ways to get from no place to no place or the terminally boring MexicoConnect Forum which died some eight years ago and has been on life support ever since without the realization that it is too late for rescusitation by defibrillator.
Dawg used to post on these forums but if any of you wish to understand why that happens no more, simply ask.

Once a board owner/moderator .... never again. Too many loonies to deal with, me included.
