Mind boggling. Everyday this space feeds 2/3rds of Canada's population or about all of California. WOW. A study of the transportation coordination/logistics on a daily basis is PHD material. Imagine driving a semi into this place. I can. It would be a trucker "bucket list" thing. Yikes.

Since California has a population of 39 million and Canada 35 million but this market can only feed 2/3rds of the Canadian population, I guess I can extrapolate that Canadians eat more.
No wonder the restaurants and grocery outlets in Chapala prefer Canadian clientele.  

Truly incredible. I have never seen anything like that. I agree the logistics would make for a great study!

I saw a documentary on a company in India that makes and delivers lunches to office workers. They did thousands of them per day.

I saw that too! It was impressive. Do you remember the name??? I'd like to watch it again.

No I don't. It was a few years ago.

Very good documetary,they claimed that out of 6 million deliveries on average only one order got lost..

That's a way better track record than Fed Ex, etc.
