Yes. Going backpacking there early next month. We will take luxury bus to Zacatecas for a couple of days then local buses up and over the Sierra Madre and down into the lush jungles of Rio Verde and on to Xilitla to spend a few days exploring Las Pozas, swim in the waterfalls, and hike. Hope to take a day to bus to Tampico and eat some shrimp and explore the gulf there.

Some areas a little spooky, but I think we'll be ok.
