Have to be in La Cristina at noon today, what time do you think I should leave SAT?

Anyone got a traffic update on over the Liberamento from Chapala and into SAT to Adelita's? A friend's birthday today and lunch is there. Yes, a half block from the church. On Good Friday.

Well, it could be worse:  At the restaurant on the Ajijic Plaza during the Passion Play.  HOLY MOLE, and good luck. I live in Ajijic, and traffic is the stuff of nightmares in town.  Solid line of traffic coming from the West into town and parts East.

Hmmm. I was thinking of threading my way through the villages to west Ajijic. . .guess that would be a bad idea too, eh? sigh

Currently SAT is quiet, no traffic in town, and not much happening. Well, until Jesus hits town again later.

Anyone know where Jesus starts from and what time he hits the church in SAT? I plan to go down San Jose and left on Paz. Maybe get caught at the procession where it is crossing? It's okay. I will have the birthday person with me so the party isn't starting without me.

Going through Chapala might be better than the Libramiento to get to Adelita's.  Neither way will be fun or fast.

The Libramiento is pretty open and the best bet. In Ajijic avoid the couple of blocks either side of the core and you should be OK. Colon southof Constitucion closed thru Sunday. X streets open.

Well, going on the Liberamento was fine as were the back streets to Adelita's. Coming back, the Liberamento was okay going north but a furball going south. Once on the highway, it took 20 minutes of creep crawl stop creep crawl to get to the Soriana returno. How bad it really is all depends on where you are going and how much patience you have.
