La Media Luna is new in Ajijic. we specialize in smoked foods and sandwiches.
Currently we sell Smoked chicken, Pastrami, cured bacon, corned beef Sandwiches along with different salads.
We also sell packaged smoked salmon, smoked Lox, smoked bacon and smoked pastrami.
Come by were open Monday-Saturday 9-6 pm and Sunday 9-3 pm.

Come in some time and give it a try. I've started smoking foods 42 years ago when my father taught me how to smoke my first chicken, I was 14 years old back then.
Since that time I've smoked in different types of smokers. First it was a Little Chief smoker then in Alaska it was a refrigerator and a wood stove.
After I started using a cast iron Brinkmann smoker but now it's been made much easier.
I now have three smokers that are automated, electronic smokers. Two of them are hot smokers and one is a cold smoker for Lox and cheeses.
I'm always working on perfecting the curing and or smoking process. My chickens take three days to make ready, Lox takes four to five days and the Pastrami takes me two weeks to make ready.
At this time we can smoke to order pretty much anything you want.
Give us a try, come in Gaby (formally worked at Black and White coffee in the plaza) is most always at the store. She is freindly, speaks English and is happy to serve you.....

Excellent! On my way to the office today I was driving by the school slowly and noticed your place on my right. I put the car in reverse and drove back and looked at the menu / chalkboard. See you soon!

Ihad a great sandwich the other day - second time. They were also happy to bring it around the corner to Cafe Black & White. Great place.

Thank you for your loyalty Mike! :-)
We try to keep our prices affordable for both the retired and the local people. Some have said they are to low (some from Guad.) but the rewards come when they take photos of the food and go back and tell their friends about us.
