We went to Tony's for BBQ pork ribs. They were very good and reasonably priced. Tony's is located on the carretera in San Antonio beside Superlake.

Besides the barbequed ribs, Tony's has some very good chicken sandwiches, burgers and soups, along with big servings of shrimp your way and well-prepared fish, likewise.
One of our fave lunch places. If you ask, you can have baked potatoes instead of fries, and they are not nuked, but done in the oven and topped with bacon bitted crema. They're good. Nothin' fancy, but comfortable, with friendly service and sociable prices.
cheers

IMO, Tony's has the best BBQ ribs at Lakeside. His fish dishes as well as his shrimp dishes are good too.

Our Dinner Group hasn't been to Tony's in nearly a year as there are too many other better choices so we can't fit everyone in. Example: Hole in One, Laurent and Ninette which we think are the three best.

I am a bit of a "rib connoisseur" and a pretty good rib chef. We actually have an annual rib cooking contest in my backyard every summer. We call it RibFest. Tony's ribs were pretty good considering he wasn't using baby back ribs and didn't take the "membrane" off the back of them prior to cooking. I would rate them a 7 out of 10 and I would definitely order them again.

Bob, you need to try the ribs at El Sarape and Vicki's too.

Does Tony still do the outdoor grilled lamb on the week-ends?
