Nope, and when they call me one and I point out I am a Canadian they usually laugh and mockingly apologize.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
One of the great advantages of living lakeside is being able to celebrate 2 Thanksgivings, one on the second Monday of October and the other which is of course, today, the 4th Thursday of November.
Double Thanksgiving to all of you.

I have never heard any Mexicans using that term. I don't know if they have a slang for a Canadian but I am curious now and will ask around. I may not like the answer......

It's great. Our Canadian friend put on a feast for that occasion and her guests were happy to celebrate with her. Now, she's joining our celebration.

Yes, you may not care for it! I have often heard Canadians referred to as "cacadienses".

I only know that The Vancouver Canucks are a professional ice hockey team based in Vancouver, British Columbia. They are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey .
Oh and they play in Rogers Stadium. And I presume that Bob is a fan thereof.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
MexicoPete, Cdn thanksgiving is the 2nd Sunday in October, I think. We get the Monday as a stat holiday in order to recover. I could be wrong.. Holidaywise I think the USA gets a better deal. Thanksgiving is Nov. 26. Then you add in shoulder days making this one a 4 day holiday, then, it's less than a month 'till Xmas. Yikes.
