Speed Test
Someone posted a recommendation for a speed test, I think it was yesterday or the day before. I can't find it now. Can you post it again please?

Re: Speed Test
Computer Guy on TOB says this is more accurate .... but upload and download speeds almost the same ??
http://speedof.me/
Download Speed: 1.67 Mbps
Upload Speed: 1.52 Mbps
Hmmmmm ...... Speedtest is kinda similar. Upload has always been way slower

Re: Speed Test
things to keep in mind when looking for ACCURATE speedtest results:
ALWAYS connect to your modem via ethernet cable . DO NOT TEST ON WIFI
ALWAYS turn off all other internet connected devices except the device from which you are testing.
After testing to the default location , select a test server in southern California or Texas (I use San Luis Obispo , California because there is only one server there , annd can re-test to the same server easily enough). This will ensure that you are testing to the internet (and not just telmex's, or Telecable's Network which is what the default test will give you. )
test to the same locations (as above) at different times of Day and night to see if speed drops at peak hours
