Lirio at Ajijic today....

Boy we got big flats of lirio (lilly pads) sailing by today in Ajijic. Somebody opened a dam.

Been going on for weeks. Good to know that the reservoirs are full enough.

Whil eit is nice to se the green matts float by, I suppose it is wishful thinking to ask the upstream communities to clean up their garbage before sending it our way? The plastic garbage that lines the beach after the rains is frightful. That said , it was real nice to see the beaches had been cleaned of last years garbage by a group posting signs with a twitter accounts. Sadly I do not twit, (try not to be a twit???), so hopefully they are working on the upstream source?
