Speaking of the CJNG. According to a few small time drug dealing locals, they are the new jefe's in this area. I'm not sure who the old jefe's were but these guys are running the drug distribution show around these parts now.

Things just aren't working out well for Ruben Oseguera, El Menchito. He was released from prison last July 1 and then rearrested the same day on additional charges. Now the release order on the original charges has been overturned on appeal by federal prosecutors. He remains housed in the supermax Altiplano prison, facing a long list of charges that include possession of illegal weapons, participating in organized crime, kidnapping and money laundering.

Javier Guerrero Covarrubias, who is identified as a regional leader of the CJNG, was arrested for ordering the attack on Gendarmes in Ocotlan last March. The attack left 10 people dead, including five Gendarmes.
