david got 2 deliveries and i paid mucho extra the one time he saw fit to deliver. maybe he'll deliver to you too.

If his pizza is as good as you say then I am in for minimum 1 a week.

Now if all his pizza fans would commit to the same and set a day of delivery so he could schedule his delivery person he might make a profit. Food business is not easy.

Their only disagreement is over pizza deliveries. OTT, they are on the same page.

Must be the cigar smoke. Perry's otherwise delivers locally.

I have friends on Constitution (from Manhattan no less) who have regular fixes of Margarita pizzas from Perry. They say it's like being at home!

Are you guys really sure this is exceptionally good pizza? I tried it once (a slice from two different pies) and was underwhelmed. I would certainly eat it if someone ordered it, and I like Perry's kung pao chicken, but to me the pizza was like something I'd get in any non-Italian, inland, town.

i have given it my seal of approval because it's damn close to tony's the real italian, in the multi ethnic inland town of edmonchuk. this is italian tony's son sal doing the dough the right way for a new york style pizza.

if you go back in this thread you will see some of tony's pizza including one i had perry make to my satisfaction with the exception of the pepperoni topping,which has now been rectified.

What's your reference as "good" pizza? In my experience here (10 years) nothing but Perry's comes close to good pizza. The others should even sully the name by calling it pizza!

Pizza is an opinion. Thin crust, Thick Crust, Deep Dish. In PNW whole wheat crust in between thick and thin in terms of thickness. Some people say anything other than thin crust and two toppings is a waste of time. Others like the Chicago style deep dish or thick crust. PNW style pizza is like Costco serves in Guad. Its chewy rather than crisp. All of it is opinion. Funny how some dough with stuff on the top can be talked about for 10 pages.

Her replacement is much more capable of taking your order and getting it right.

IMHO, pizza is about one's palate and one's preferences rather than opinion. I'm still hoping that the person that dissed Perry's pizza will tell about any pizza available locally is better than his.

Travis, on TOB, reports that Perry will be moving to West Ajijic:

"He told me new location will be directly next door to Casa de Plomero, one house west. It should be a great spot for him. Much more visible, bigger and with parking, etc.

"Forget what he told me about the time-line for the move, but don't think it's imminent.

"Still open at current location."
