I like thin crust and crisp.

Prefer Chapala.

Thanks.

Looking for a recommendation Empty PIZZA UPDATE

Post by Jim W Thu Jan 08, 2015 5:25 pm

Clueless,  There are 10 pages of Pizza posts under food?rest. The thread started in August 2014........last post today.

I see that the last comments on Ajijic pizza were posted in May, and I'm wondering if there have been any changes in opinions.

Last night, my wife and I had a goat cheese, tomato, Italian sausage, and mushrooms medium-sized pizza (don't remember its menu name) at Trattoria di Axixic. Fairly thin crust, slightly charred in spots, served piping hot, crispy, and paired with a very nice Chilean Merlot. This was the first pizza we have had in Ajijic, and have to say that it was delicious. We brought the rest home, and I just finished re-crisping it in the oven--tastes as good, right now(!), as it did last night. Beer

Right next to Lalena in Chapala on the main drag across the the vet with the cow out front.  In cooler weather I take it home. Best I have found.

Artesialulu - sorry to be the one to deliver very sad news - the cow is no longer there, the landmark has moseyed along it's way. New vet shop in the same location but no cow.

NO COW? Holy cow! Who stole the cow??? In the US, that cow would have achieved landmark status by now.

Along with the vet supplies the shop now has a sign outside advertising "Papeleria" - I guess in case your pets need any office supplies also?

Life here is endlessly interesting. Where did the cow go??? Could we have a memorial service?

We like Toscano in RIberas, good fresh ingredients, excellent salads and thin crust.

Okay, so I have to admit, I stole the cow, which is now sitting on my back patio. Or not. Ransom, anyone? HEY, it is an important cow. We have to repatriate the cow! Otherwise, we dumb gringos cannot find our way around Chapala. BRING BACK THE COW! Must contact Dale Hoyt Palfrey for front page article!

That would have been my first suggestion, but OP prefers Chapala, assuming the town.
