I have been following the dismissal of the police chief and all the local police that failed the exam the state made them all take. It is interesting to see that the mayor (el presedente) wanted to keep the police chief in his position despite his failing the exam intended by the government to weed out bad cops. By suggesting he have a second chance at the exam that is only a way to cheat and circumvent the rules and laws. If it was not for the chief wanting to retire now, would he still be here at the mayor's doing???? We have recently seen what a close relationship between a police chief and a mayor is capable of in Guerrero state, and the disappearance of the 43 students.
