Ritchie88, We Shall Return!

I'd read somewhere that Ritchie88 was one of the go-to places for breakfast/lunch, went there this morning (noonish), and it did not disappoint! Luis, Patricia, their daughter Alejandra were wonderful host(esses), obviously enjoyed helping us with our Spanish, provided the fascinating history of their café, and delivered my breakfast and wife's lunch that resulted in tickled taste buds. We're going to be regulars

Agree completely. Great people, and they also make excellent coffee and espresso. Bonus - daughter Alejandra is a talented and imaginative artist.

Try Roja Salada. Vegtables, fruits, with a Balsamic sauce. Yum Yum and not bad for you. They have crispy potatoes cut on a cross grid. Yum Yum again. Very nice people. Chef was trained in Mexico city.

We were there recently and they had the daughter's artwork hanging all over the walls. She also designed the menu. I'm quite fond of their lasagna, by the way, and it comes with a nice, large salad and garlic toast. They're so concerned with customer comfort that they'll even give you a spritz of mosquito repellent if the critters are bothering you.
