In all fairness to the real estate agents, properties here take a long, long time to sell on average and one year on the market is the norm in many cases. They need to advertise and market through a number of sources and that costs, then clients can change realtors after an agent has spent some serious $$$.

Even at the current percentages many of the real estate companies are taking losses.

Before you sign a contract, any contract, you should have a non interested professional review it. In the case at hand, it is not in the best interest of the listing agent to point out things not in their best interest.

Has anybody read the Lake Chapala Reporter interview with "whistleblower" Justus Hauser? There were some areas of discrepancy between what the GIL prez posted and what others, such as Spencer, have posted. I was hoping Justus had been able to clarify and shed some light on things, such as varying stories as to appeals filed, appeals won or lost, etc.
