He used to be closed Thursdays. Did you check?

Is this to help out the restaurant because of the financial hit he has taken with the street being dug up?

Yes, I was just informed they are closed on Thursdays so we will have to change the venue. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where we should have it?

Is Christian's Italian restaurant open on a Thursday - the one in west Ajijic? There is Pranza with outdoor dining in La Floresta.

I believe the objective is to support Augustine who has suffered with road construction access problems to his restaurant.

He is also the individual I would think of first as deserving of support. His contributions to his community are beyond description. Operation Feed and much more.

Agreed!!
Arileo and Pranza are doing pretty good on their own and the last swarm was at Christian's restaurant.

I agree on supporting Augustin in Viva Mexico - he has been closed for two weeks due to the construction. Don't know if there is a timing problem though. And he is closed Thursdays.

Focaccia Restaurant would be another family business worth supporting.

It needs to be on Thursday as time is limited since Jim arrives on the Wednesday and leaves for a fishing trip on the Saturday. We are going to ask Augustine if he will accommodate a private party on that Thursday. Stay tuned.

OK, Augustine has agreed to open for a private party for us on the Thursday. If we have 20 or more he will do a buffet. Looks like we have about 10 so far.

And did you all notice that our Jim W. will be at the luncheon - all the way from Arizona!

Count one more in. I will be in the states during Jim's visit- but
Barry would not miss the chance of seeing Jim as much as possible
while he is visiting.
