Port forwarding on an Infinitum modem? Empty Port forwarding on an Infinitum modem?

Post by TrueBrit Sat Aug 09, 2014 6:55 pm

I have a Technicolor TG582n Telmex modem and I would like to be able to remotely access an IP security camera in my house. I can get in the modem's admin page but I don't see a specific port forwarding option. I need to open up a port on the modem for the camera. Does anyone know if this can be done, and if so, how?

There is no Port Forwarding option .... you just open a port. Finding that port from the outside world is a whole nuther thing

Thanks Sparks. After about 12 hours I had enough stars aligned to get it to work!

What are you using.

I've had a web cam running thru Telmex but needed 2 programs running to talk to cam and to resolve the IP address since it changes
