Re: Stay in and vote!
When I click on the link provided by Lady O, and reiterated by Zen, I get a bright red screen warning me of malware ahead. I'm sure I've used that link before without seeing a warning.

That just happened to me today.
I must investigate further.
Ponies are at stake here.

Re: Stay in and vote!
I talked with site developers last night, was told a problem had been detected and Google placed the alert page up until it could be resolved. Currently Hostgator is working to pinpoint the source of the problem. Once found and fixed they have to get Google to remove the red screen, which they do at their leisure.
So possibly the problem is already fixed, but they have to wait on Google which can be slow. I will post an update if I hear more.

McAfee security wouldn't let me go there anymore today either. I just tried and the warning for me is still there.

He is just reiterating his lack of interest by continuing to read and comment upon the thread. Nothing says "This holds no interest for me" more than coming back to comment over and over.

Re: Stay in and vote!
Just heard today that Hostgator found the site problem & fixed it. Some very sophisticated phishing got in the back door, right past the security. They are now just waiting for Google to confirm and remove that red screen, and they are installing even more security armor.

Re: Stay in and vote!
How do you ignore it and get to vote, Zen? I see no option on the Red Screen of Death except to view details or return to safety.

The screen that I am getting has an option in the bottom right corner (in small print) to ignore the warning.Lady Otter Latté wrote:How do you ignore it and get to vote, Zen? I see no option on the Red Screen of Death except to view details or return to safety.

CanuckBob wrote:What makes a person happy is an extremely subjective thing. Coming down and checking things out for yourself is the best decision. We have been here fulltime a few years and love it. We originally came for 4 to 6 weeks every year for 5 years before we moved down fulltime. We rented in a different place every time. Chapala, Ajijic, SJC, gated communities, in the village, etc. We decided living right in Ajijic village was right for us. Nothing much has changed since 2011 other than the real-estate prices are lower and there are more Canadians and less Americans.
Right on Bob, Deb and I love the open space and that works for us. 900 mslot. 5300 sq ft home lake view from every room.
BTW what is this stay in and vote all about?
