Availablility of warfarin/coumadin and crestor lakeside...

I'll assume they are easy to come by, but do they require a prescription as they do NOB.

Warfarin/coumadin is available, but the dosages are limited. I only found 5mg dose.
No prescription needed.

Thanks for the response, Zenwoodle. Not needing a prescription for the warfarin is a nice feature.

Do you have any experience in having a INR test done lakeside: costs, convenience, etc?

Coumadin is available at most farmacia's but it is not available at Farmacia Similaries. Cost at Walmart is 277.41 pesos for 30 -5mg tablets. Costco is about the same price.

Blood work is around 109 pesos at ISI Lab which is located by Dermika. Next plaza from El Torito grocery store. You have to have the blood work done before 11:30am as they send blood work to Guadalajara around noon. They will email you the results.

They email the results to me the same day.   

I was surprised to see that warfarin costs more than twice as much lakeside as it does in Saskatchewan (I'm paying full price, no senior discount). A perk of our socialized medical system, I guess. The cost of the INR test is quite reasonable, though.
