CHAPALAJARA Real Estate-- My experience
In January of this year, I posted a question on this very board, whether anyone had ever used the services of Chapalajara Real Estate? I got very few replies and then most went off topic.
Anyhow, after as much research info I could find, I called Chris Gruenwald ( Broker), to come to our house for a possible listing. Long story short, I was very impressed with what Chris had to say and how he evaluated our home. A young girl named Ginny, an American, was helping Chris that day and what an asset she is, for this company. OK, so we listed our home with Chapalajara and couldn't have been more pleased.
First week, the first couple that looked at our house loved it, was ready to put in an offer, when they decided there were not enough lights, in the surrounding areas .
Second week, next couple also loved our house, returned the next day and put in an offer of which we accepted!
Points I want to make is, this is the first Realtor we have had and there were ( two ) previous, that actually SOLD the features of our house to the clients! We stayed at the house while being shown, we were out of the way of course, but the wife could hear what was being said. Other agents we have had, would just walk the clients through our house without saying a word!! Not Chris, he was taking his time and SELLING our house.
We picked Chris, because he speaks Spanish, like it is his first language and because, I wanted to present our home to the Mexicans from Guadalajara. Chris was right upfront with me, they do not advertise locally very much, they really push their listings on the internet especially in Guadalajara. Ginny was always there, to help keep us informed as to what was going on, we could call her anytime.
The buyers were getting two loans, so there was some time involved here, with Semana Santa and all. Scotia Bank was a big part of the wait time, as some of there requests were, lets just say ?????
Well, anyhow all is well and we have closed. We just thought it fair, to give our information on our house selling experience. It's always nice to hear something positive and a GOOD story Lakeside.

What price range are you? Lower than $300,000 sells faster.
