Gasoline prices go up in México

For most of us ex-pats it'snot a big deal. Most of us don't drive that many miles anyway. I fill up my Pathfinder about once every 3 weeks. Not a huge hardship.Can't wait to drive to BC this summer & get raped up there. But, I really do feel sorry for the average Mexican that depends on a vehicle for transportation or work.

In B.C. we can buy 8 Liters + - of reg' gas for $10.25 (1 hours min' wage). Eh

That works out to $10.25 X 40 = $410 a week & $21,320 a year.

So you didn't leave BC & go to Mexico for economic reasons. Eh

That's $15 MXN per liter & $122 MXN per hour, minimum wage.

So what?  Ask your gov't what they're doing with the money.

3.19 w/ HEB gas card South Tx area. One of the drawbacks to TX driving is the distances and our high speed limits 75 mph in some areas average cruising speed about 90 mph some areas cops don't seem to care. ..

Well you won't get in a hurry on I35 between Hillsboro and Georgetown these days. The entire road, except for a small stretch in Waco, is under construction. It is definitely no fun to drive it these days.

Sadly I agree with you on that. Too many deaths lately.
