Re: Earthquake
Thank you, Slainte.
I was providing context (and support) for Axixic´s skepticism. The chart shows the unlikeness that Natbug does not even feel a quake below 7 because he was so used to them.
By the way, I lived in SoCal for 29 years.

Maybe Axixic can clear this up for us.

Off topic, but I highly recommend the Ring of Fire an Indonesian Oddysey documentary.Smartalex wrote:natbug wrote:The Ring of Fire is quite active these days...

Well viajero, are you and I, the only two great minds on this thread, that think alike. I guess I'll go back and crawl under my rock.
I know what axixic was thinking , but I'm not quite ready to install him with the "great minds".

Re: Earthquake
If you inject a "7" humorously in a "Ring of Fire" you might feel the Earth move. Eh

Re: Earthquake
You are being generous by calling me "slow" today. Glacial would be more like it.

Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.
I was just trying to be funny without being graphic.
Usually the best jokes are the ones you imagine for yourself. I was merely trying to 'grease the skids'. No offense intended.

Axixic:
I would say that you did a great job of accomplishing your goal, even if you did require each of us to be on our tippi-toes. When you choose to make such comments, you might wish to wait for all of our coffee fixes to kick in so there were will be less confusion?

Re: Earthquake
The elaboration should have included a comment as to epicenter. For example, I was living in SD when the Northridge quake hit and I never felt it. We had numerous quakes whose epicenters were in the desert areas east of LA when I was living just north of LA and I never felt them. I am sure if I was on TOP of the epicenter I would notice, but, honestly I never know they happened until someone tells me. Maybe I'm just a dizzy broad and assume it's my normal loopiness. lol
BTW, I took the comments as humor, I rarely gets my panties in a twist over things said on this board
