Futbol game times

We're number 1, we're number 1, we're number 1.

Last Sunday's defeat of Comude Quetzlcoatl placed us in sole possession of first place in the league.

Sundays game times have been changed to 3:00 and 5:00 to allow ESPN to show the games in prime time.
Actually, I think it is because it is Palm Sunday.   

We have to settle for lousy ESPN instead of a major network?

I think we should sue.

Both teams lost on Sunday. Perhaps a little overconfidence from the previous weekend.
I have not seen the standings yet, but I believe this loss eliminates the juniors from playoff contention.
I think that we will still be in first place in the seniors as we have beaten Comude Quetzalcoatl who are possibly tied with us in points.
No games this weekend, and we are on the road the weekend after that.
The next home games will be May 4th, and will be the last of the regular season.
Hopefully the seniors can hold on to first place for a home game run to the championship in the playoffs.

I am NOB for the next few months.
I will contact TrueBrit and ask him to update the fans.
They are playing away this weekend, and the final home game of the regular season is on May 4th.
If we can stay atop the league, the playoffs would all be at home.

The games yesterday had to be rescheduled.
As we now have two games left to play, and Comude has only one, they have passed us and moved into first place.
This will only be temporary.   

The rescheduled games were played yesterday, and we lost both.
This eliminates us from the number 1 slot, and we have to hope that Comude loses there last game and we win in order to regain 1st spot.
When I find out the times of Sundays games I will pass it on.   

LAST GAME OF THE REGULAR SEASON THIS SUNDAY
...but we are in the playoffs
Game times are 3pm for the Ponies and 5pm for the big kids. Lower field as usual.

It looks like, at this stage, that we will have home field advantage for the first playoff game.
After that, who knows.
If you are one of the people who have committed to donating money to the transportation fund, you should give the money to Phil on Sunday.
We may still have some trips to pay for.
As I am NOB at this time, I am hoping that the supporters come out on Sunday and make up for my absence.

At least I'll be there for the playoffs.

We left with a few minutes left in the game and we were up 2 - 0!!!! While walking away we heard some cheers that sounded like we scored another one so I figure the game ended at 3 - 0.
