Four months ago they brought me two Shih Tzus that had been found running down the middle of the street. Pretty sure they had escaped a puppy mill. They told me the male was cream with a brown face and feet. He turned out to be white. That's how dirty they were. In any case, soon after they arrived...minutes..puppies were created. Oh goody. That meant she couldn't be spayed and rehomed until two weeks after the puppies were weaned. They wouldn't put the boys picture on the website until all the brown stain came off of his face..basically had to grow out... which took a couple of months....of course his personality was finally able to bloom and I fell in love with Mickey. He's what we call a "failed foster"!! Very Happy

So... babies were born 7 weeks ago... the personalities were so different. The little boy quickly outgrew the girl...but she's the bouncier tougher one. His ears stayed flat like a Shih Tzus are supposed to...but her's stand straight up. Called the original rescuer... and she just happened to have a four pound Yorkie male. They're a hoot and ..fearless. Lots of fun to watch. Just have to get new mamas quickly before they become..."failed fosters"
