View posts since last visit

Is anyone else having problems with this function on here? It sometimes tells me no new posts but if I go to the main menu there will be new posts--anywhere from two to five so far.  

Depends on your timing and the end of the day with the hosting service. We all like to think we are in real time but forum time is controlled by the location of the hosting service.

Ahh! I had the same problem a couple of days ago. No problems now.

Having to scroll through the menu looking for new posts anyway sort of defeats the purpose of the time-saving aspect of "view new posts."

Try a reset by doing a new log in on the quick jump menu.

I just log in as Pedro and see all the posts and deletions.

Just now I clicked on the "view new posts" button and it appears to be in a "I know what is good for you to read mode" and repeatedly left out new posts in the playhouse.

Slainte, I tried the new log in last night. This morning I got "no new posts" again and found 6 new ones when I scrolled through. So, that did not work.
Guess I will just wait for the problem to go away. So far that seems to be how all problems on this board eventually resolve themselves.

Except for a few problem posters.    .....they are determined....like moi.

Well, maybe not....but I try. At least I manage to get a few toes in my mouth at times.  

I think you may be a problem for some of the posters. But, for the rest of us you are a cherished member of our dysfunctional family.
