Un Chingon de droga off the streets of Ajijic

Well, it looks like a lot to me...the article calls it a "granular" substance....What would that be?
This arrest of 2 men was made at Zaragoza and Juarez in Ajijic...Seems like a lot happens in that general vicinity; Evidently someone called 089 and BAM...off to the pokey.

It would be "Un chingo", as in "A shitload" of something. Chingón means something different.

I've always wondered how that verb is conjugated too, do tell, Casi Nada.

Chingar...chingo, chingas, chinga, chingamos, chingais, chingan. It means to fuck up or screw up. When things are fucked up, they are "chingon." A chingadera is a "fucking thing." The gerund is chingando, as in "Absochingandolutamene!" Chingar should not be confused with cojer, which means to fuck literally.

You don't conjugate it, it's an noun. The verb is chingar and it's uses and meanings are so varied and so "Mexican" that Octavio Paz dedicated a large part of his book "The Labyrinth of Solitude" to it. My Spanish is pretty good, but there subtleties and variations that are beyond me. Here's an interesting link: La Chingada

Viajero is correct, in fact it's quite the opposite. To be "chingón" or "chingona" at something (used as a noun), means to be fucking great at it. As an adjective it means fucking great. "Tu carro es muy chingón." "Your car is fucking awesome." "Ese tipo es chingón." "That guy is a real bad-ass."

Another word that's hard for non mexicans to get a handle on, me included would be "madre" examples:que poca madre,a toda madre,me vale madre,tu madre en mole etc.

It doesn't necessarily require the adjective "fucking or fucked" etc. in the translation. As has been pointed out, there are infinite ways to use the word chingar in all of its many manifestations but there are subtleties that can only be understood through context or even sometimes the tone of voice.

And cojer, while for the most part in Mexican lexicon means to fornicate, in other countries it is widely used in other non-vulgar ways.
