streets still closed around Ajijic Plaza?

Is Colon, and the street just east of the Plaza where the parking lot is, still closed for the festival? We are planning to go to Tony Burton's book signing at the Cultural Center on the plaza, and we are wondering where we can park.

I would think it will take a few days to move all of the carnival rides away, so the streets will probably still be blocked.

They are packing everything up today. Doubtful it will all be clear by this afternoon.

As of this PM, Marcos Castellanos is closed from the Carretera to Guadalupe Victoria and Colon from Zaragosa to Constitution/Ocampo.  For how long?

It's a mess! Plan on it being like this through the weekend as the concessions like to milk the advantageous location for as long as possible. They do it in Joco and in SA.

They were all pretty clear this morning. All the rides and vendors were gone.

Thank God, that feria is just awful and destroys the business around to sell their crap, I wish they would relocate them..

I always thought they should put the rides and vendors down at the malecon to spread out the fiesta.

I wish they would ban all those made-in-China aluminum cooking crap puestos along the carretera. I passed through yesterday about 4 and it was a mess. So, they cleared out and cleaned up overnight?

I wasn't up on the caraterra. I can only speak for all the roads in and around the plaza.

As of this morning, the vendors are still blocking the top of Marcus Castellenos. Colon and Parroquia are clear.
