Urgent AB+, AB-, and O- blood needed by elderly retired pastor

I saw this on another web board but so urgent I thought I would post here:

This is for a retired Mexican Pastor of a church that friends of ours belong to. The blood platelets type(s) he needs are: AB+, AB-, and O-. If he does not get a transfusion within the next 24 hours, he is not expected to survive.

The emergency call for blood donors is being handled by:

Eva Mendez: Phone 045-331-423-5885. You will be picked up, transported to the hospital in GDL and returned by a volunteer.

Can't donate for 2 months if already donated recently. Men can only donate 4 times a year. Women 3 times a year.
Can't be sick or recently sick.
Can't be menstruating, using oral contraceptives or use pain reliever etc.

I know the rules are so strict here. I'm 64 and tried to donate to a friend who lost 10 units of blood - I'm the same blood type, but they wouldn't take me because that hospital had a cut off age of 60, while I hear others are 65. And it's such a rare blood type.
