There was a lot of late night partying and fireworks in the village last night. I'm sure the heavy rain put a damper on some of it though.......

It pissed it down, but it didn't seem to dampen spirits. Hector gave a very impassioned grito, which got us all going. And the foreigners received a kind word too as being part of this community. Viva!

By the way, El Grito honours the heroes of the revolution, the names of which are recognized on street names on every pueblo in Mexico. So, when Hector read the names of the heroes, to an untrained ear it could have sounded like directions to Mannix.
