Wood Pellets
I could really use some help finding wood pellets for my BBQ Smoker. If anyone knows where I can find them I would appreciate it. I can't find them anywhere and I thought maybe someone else has seen them here in Mexico. Thanks for your help

Re: Wood Pellets
Are you looking for pellets or chips. As in mesquite or hickory.

WalMart carries mesquite bark chips in the lawn/garden section. Very cheap and certainly not the best, but they do provide a smoke for my salmon. SuperLake carried better, but I haven't seen them since the last store re-org.

Re: Wood Pellets
I have been a long time customer of Traeger and really prefer their pellets for smoking on the BBQ. Since I have their contact info handy, I asked if they would ship direct to Mexico and the answer was no. You might check with this company: http://www.qpelletsbymail.com/
Another option may be ordering through Amazon? I have seen where people have claimed they have been able to order product through Amazon and have shipment made to Mexico.

Re: Wood Pellets
Our local Costco just had a Traeger event and I picked up a new supply of pellets. I had one of the early Traegers but felt that it lacked when cooking steaks. It appears that some of the new ones have the improvements to negate my previous negatives? I currently make up foil packets with pellets to use with a conventional propane BBQ and get incredible smoke flavor in the meats I choose to BBQ. Far better than attempting to use the wood chips.
