Living in Mexico: Such a deal
Needing 2 ceiling fans fixed, a fried light socket replaced and a new trac light installed we called Ilumina + Decora in San Antonio to make a house call. The electrician arrived about an hour later to inspect the job and says he'll be back in an hour with the light and parts, and is. Then he works for about 2 hours on the installation and repairs and viola, the job is finished.
Total cost for the trac light, parts, repairs and installation: 420 pesos (Oh, and he spoke English)
Normally I wouldn't post stuff like this but our fearless leader did ask for more information about living in Mexico, so here it is.

That's a great store with really helpful people. I bought every one of my lights & fixtures there. The adjacent hardware store is where the man who installed all the bars on my house as well as security doors & grates in the skylights can be contacted. His name is Martin. Great work.
