Telmex

A representative from Telmex dropped by this afternoon. She asked to see a copy of my last bill and informed me my internet speed would be boosted from 5 Mb to 10 Mb and my monthly cost would be reduced as part of a new promotion. From what I gathered the upgrade in speed and rate reduction would take place in about a month.

There was a notice in my last bill stating that DSL speed would be doubled soon at no charge.

What packages do you guys have? The $599 or $999?

I have the 389 package and my speed will be increase also to the same as the 599 package. I have a friend that works at Telemex and told me not to buy the 599 package as the speed will soon be that on the lower package deal. It should start in December.

One of the benefits of the 599 package is unlimited long distance calls and I live in San Juan Cosala. So most everyone I call is long distance.
