Garage door remote

I need a new remote for my garage door opener. I've heard that Antonio in Ajijic is expensive but that there's an alternative source. Anyone know who/where?

"Antonio" is Puertas Automaticas, right? Pretty much across from OXXO on the carretera? I had heard (or read somewhere.....) that they were a bit pricey, but when I needed one I went there and they got it done in a day. Price seemed fair to me. The important thing to me was they actually got it done in a day. In our case it turned out it wasn't the remote, it was the circuitry (or whatever) at the receiving end door/motor. Good luck.

I've used Automaticas. I prefer, for both price and efficiency, Puertas Y Sistemas Automatico De La Ribera, San Luis # 30, Riberas, Phone: 765-4367.

Automaticas wanted to charge me 300 pesos more than the next guy to buy a simple remote. My guy in Riberas came over and fixed my next one, at my house, no charge.
