A universal power supply may work. That is about the only hope lakeside. You may well
find it at the market in Guad. Walmart may have universal power supplies but I don't
know for sure.

Just noticed you said 16VAC.  Is that the output spec?  AC is kinda strange for a power adapter. I doubt if a universal does AC.

Steren in Guadalajara sells multi-voltage AC adaptors for travel.
