Saturday Futbol

I will not be able to attend the start of the game on Saturday. I am hoping to be there for the second half.

Someone else will have to be in charge of the beers.

Have a first communion Sat. morning and the reception afterwards or I would have been glad too.  Knowing that I can't hold a candle to your bartending skills. 
Maybe Zed or CBob......Pedro would drink up the profits.

Union Ajijic football school is playing the 'Las Panteras' football school from Chapala.
  Times are..
Ponies at 10am
Minis at 11am
Juvenil (Inside Lakeside) at 12:20pm
It always amazes me that they give the times so precisely as it only means this is the earliest it could start.
Giovanni and the coach from Panteras want to form a Chapala superteam to play in a tough tournament in Guadalajara (possibly too tough for each individual team).  Naming rights have yet to be decided.  See you Saturday!

The game was still on and unfortunately our team lost in the overtime shoot-out. They are starting to look like the Vancouver Canucks.....jaja.

Great game none the less. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the cerveza sales.

bring more cerveza;i had to wait to get home before i started to get glassy eyed. yes,they were like the canucks and got lackadaisycal in the second half just like them canucks of yours

And ladies, you wouldn't believe it, but....
When our team lost, I was afraid Pedro, and his gang of malcontents, were going to tear up the stadium. I ran for my car before the police came.  Don't know what happened after that.

It was a good game, when I left it was 1-1!   Yes I did my duty and contributed thru/to  the cervesa fund......LOL
