Yep...the new owner, Ernesto Casián from Guadalajara, seems like a nice guy. I will be giving him some business as I always did Oscar.
Don't know about Jocotepec.

Re: TIRE STORE REOPENED ON LIBRAMIENTO
Correct me if I'm wrong. Wasn't the previous owner - Oscar- the guy who was kidnapped, mutillated, escaped, and subsequently fled Mx with his family, for, obvious safety reasons.? If so, Ernesto, the new owner, is either family related, a canny business person, or, cartel related. Nice guy, or not, he's probably paying some kind of nongovernment tax and he's including that in his prices.
It's no different NOB. You have to pay "The Man", whoever that may be. I can remember the day, in my late twenties, when I answered the door to a RMCP/cop. His message - You have not filed a tax return in a long time - FILE. I'm thinking, my government is serious, I'm being shacken down by a guy who swore to serve and protect. In reality, he's just a tax man enforcer, and, he's got a firearm.
I filed. I received and received a $5 thousand rebate cheque.

The Joco store is open, but they don't appear to be stocking many tires...looks like they are concentrating more on service.

No connection....a real stretch on supposition..... "paying non government tax"
