"Internet lag, a drag on Mexico"

GUADALAJARA, JALISCO (20/MAY/2013.) - Mexico suffers a bad technology which has failed to recover for years: is "backward" in their internet services that affect their international competitiveness. Each year, assessments of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) are lagging the country in this vein, especially in terms of broadband penetration and third generation services (mobile internet).

Today, the status has not changed. Mexico is in last place of the 34 countries that make up this organization in terms of internet access (only 9.8 of every 100 residents, according to the latest study), which is detrimental to the economic growth of the nation. ............
