SAT address
Anyone know the address of the SAT office in Guadalajara that would process refunds on immigration payments made in error. I have all the paperwork and just need to know where to go.
I would consider paying a facilitator to process the refund but so far haven't found anyone that wants to do it. Any suggestions....
Thanks in advance.

Re: SAT address
I think it is very hard to do, that is why I declined, there are 3 offices, one by Trompo Magico in Zapopan, other 1221 Failadelfia (On glorietta Colon Lopez Mateos and americas) and other a block from the last on Americas in front of Soriana.

Re: SAT address
As Intercasa says, it is difficult. However, it isn't impossible if you stick with it. We ran into this several years ago when renewing our FM3 in Guad. when it wasn't possible to do it here. We made a mistake by 1 letter on our bank payment so it was rejected and we had to pay again.
To get a refund we had to first get a letter from INM (across the hall from where you submit) saying there was a mistake. We informed them when we found out about the mistake and then had to return another day to get the letter. They told us "no problem" and to go to any SAT office, and refereed us the closest one. After going there, and waiting some time, someone looked at our address (in San Juan Cosala at the time) and then looked at a map for a long time and then announced that we had to go to the SAT office by Trompo Mabico in Zapopan. That is about as far on the North side of Guadalajara as you can go, so we couldn't do it that day. It is the one that is the farthest from San Juan Cosala. Why?
We finally found our way there a few weeks later, and once we got there and explained what we wanted and showed the letter they asked: "don't you have an appointment?" After much explaining and pleading we finally got to talk to someone "in charge" and they granted us an appointment that day. We were then able to fill out all of the paper work which was extensive.
They wanted our full bank account information to transfer the refund to the account. Not just account number, but routing number or whatever it is called here, which we didn't have with us. So all we could do was give them our address and they said they would then send the refund there.
We left not really expecting to ever receive the refund (about $100 US or a bit more), but we had now spent at least 2 full days trying to collect it and didn't really plan on investing any more time in that effort.
About 2 months later a man showed up at our house in San Juan Cosala with a letter and check from SAT with the refund. I assume that he drove from the far North side of Guad. to SJC to deliver that, since that is the office we had to apply at. Go figure? But we did get the refund! :) Probably wouldn't bother again.

Re: SAT address
Very sorry to hear that Intercasa refused/declined to help you. We completed the process a week ago and found it to be fairly easy to do if you know the procedures, have the correct paperwork(which we assure you , you do not), have a translator which doesn't need to be certified, and are willing to spend approx 3 hours in the Sat office, the nearest one, plus your drive time. Thats what it takes, your time and patience and it can be done in one day. Feel free to PM, contact us and we will instruct you on how to complete this task in one day. savvy?

Re: SAT address
We have had many, many problems and it isnt worth our time, spending hours and hours and sometimes then rejecting things on a whim all for a refund of a few thousand pesos doesn't make sense. People want to pay the minimum and we are extremely busy and would rather be getting people out of jail for presenting fake car docs instead of waiting in line at the tax office.
