For small valuables my wife sews together pot holders and then incorporates them into the decorative throw pillows.

I helped someone with a burglary report to the MP, only people who knew the secret hiding place were gringos and it was brought up in a conversation and thieves only went to secret spots, didn't rifle through home.

This is another one of those worthless posts with links to sites most people don't even care about. Is it too much to ask the OP to prelude the topic with something akin to "If you want to see some useful advice for hiding valuables, here are some sites that will provide tips"?

Not everybody is interested in this type of post -- and if they were, they already were aware of the information. Jeez!

I think you are being too critical and condescending.

And you are entitled to your opinion; I'm just saying that it was a waste of my time, especially since I don't need this type of information and wouldn't have clicked on the sites if I'd had any inkling of the nonsense exhibited.

I'm with you, Lehrer. Espiritu might at least exhibit some manners, and enough initiative to indicate the nature of the subject matter.

My experience has taught me that if I want to make a point for others to consider, first I have to express the point. Then, if I want to support it with objective evidence, present the evidence. (In the current case, provide a link from an objective source.)

Of course, I'm kinda weird in that regard. I'm "old school" -- I guess for most folks nowadays, anything goes. (It's just that a large portion of the audience is lost with the tactics of "nowadays" -- mostly those with objective minds.)
