Plastic Palm Tree
...and maybe a pink flamingo or two. Anyone know where I can find them around here?

Re: Plastic Palm Tree
We were in Tonala this past Saturday and saw lots of palm trees and pink flamingos made from any number of materials. Don't even have to leave the main drag to see plenty of choices and also in the open air tianguis that is set up in the large field on the west side of the main drag.

I was gonna ask if there's a little trailer park around here to go with it?

Re: Plastic Palm Tree
We use to collect plastic animals at HP in the old days and set them up outside
our windows. We even had HP badges and called our collection The Plastic
lawn ornament division (PLOD). It survived for about a couple of years and the
leader tore it all out one night and said it was not professional. It was the begining
of the end for fun at the company. Bill Hewlett and Dave
Packard saw it and laughed. They thought it very funny we had a plastic racoon
sitting on an egg. Every procurement salesman had to walk past the display so
I assume some stuck up complained. My favorite were the black and white plastic
penguins. They even kidnapped my favorite animal and sent a ransom note to me
with a milk carton with a picture of the penguin on it that said have you seen this
penguin. We had a lot of fun at HP in the old days.
