Pedro Loco

I just heard from a Mexican friend that Pedro loco was found dead in his house. So this is a rumor and I don't have any other details at this time.

Who is Pedro Loco?

He's the elderly man who walked around Ajijic in colorful costumes which usually involve fancy hats with feathers, flowers, etc. He used to have a burro drawn cart. Liked to have a drink, or two or three or.........
Was a lawyer in a former life.

If he died, then R.I.P. He certainly lived life "his way" to the end.

Awwww, descanse en paz Pedro. And we lose another colorful character. . .

What a lovely poem.

News was posted on the Ajijic News Facebook page.

I live near his apartment. He was having severe mobility problems and was having
to use a walker. Just a few week ago he was getting around fine with his walking
stick. Without his mobility I don't think he would have been happy or as happy
as he was with mobility. For having such severe mental disabilities he had a pretty
good attitude for life. Lots of interesting stories about Pedro.

"Peter Morse Moir, son of James Ward and Bernice Moir. Born September 7, 1945 together with his twin sister Elizabeth Susan, Middleton Nova Scotia, passed away today. Survived by his son, Kyle James Moir, precious grand children, Olivia, William and Colt. Sister Janet and brother Jim. Peter was a character his entire A successful criminal lawyer, a good friend. Loved by two wives....both named Patricia. Kyle and I will hold a party to celebrate a life well lived. You're all invited and we will announce where here."

John and I used to talk with Peter at Tequila Republic a few years ago but lost track of him when he stopped going there. Only saw him a few times after that. But both of us will miss him and the conversations we had together. Peter, we know you are feeling better than you have in a long time wherever you are. Lots of love, Barbi and John
