The Sharp, don't remember model # HG, but cost was just South of $2000.00 In September 2012.

BTW, we have two SONY Bravia TVs, both made in Mexico. I've been as happy with them as I have been with other SONY products over the last few decades. There is an excellent SONY store in Guadalajara for sales and service.

How old are your Sony Bravias? I have a 9 year old Sony projection TV. I couldn't afford a flat screen back in 2003.

The smaller one is 2006, the larger 2008. Both from the Sony store in Guadalajara. BTW, thanx for the tip.

You are welcome!!! We will buy a 50" - 55" Sony or 50 " - 55" Samsung when we move to the US.

John ....Oled is the future. 10 years ago a 50" plasma was for the rich.
Give it time. The rich get to play first!! Always

For example want to see what will be on your moderate priced car 10 years from now go look at an new S series Mercedes.
