Dental Implants Empty Dental Implants

Post by TexMex Sat Nov 17, 2012 3:33 pm

Looking for any information and recommendation for dental implants. A friend in the States needs two implants, she was quoted USD $5800 to have the two implants done in Minnesota. I don't know anyone here who has had implants so have no idea about the cost or a good implant dentist, but I told her I would check around. Thanks in advance for any info / help.

I have two different friends that needed implants.
One, a buddy from Dallas, got a quote up NOB for around $ 15K for 2 implants and a bridge. Came down at my suggestion, went to Dr Coty (across from Mom's) and got a quote for around $ 5K. Had the work done and is very satisfied. Very.
The other just got told she has a fractured tooth and will require 2 implants. Dr Haro. Her quote was for $ 3,400 US.
So, it is much cheaper and both are very good dentists. I'm sure there are others, but this is what I know.

I would recommend a specialist in Guadalajara.

I am Juan Rey's friend who needs the 2 implants. Dr. Haro brings in a specialist from Guadalajara. Just so your friend knows, the process will take 2 trips here. One to have the screw put in (it goes in the bone) and about 3 months later after all the healing they will have to come back to have the "tooth" put in. BTW, the cost of 2 implants was $1500 each and I need another crown which is $400.
