Seeking a Dentist foor Dentures or Implants.

Is there someone living in Chapala, Ajijic or Jocotepec or even Guadalajara who would recommend a serious dentist based on personal experience? I am faced with surgical dental procedures of some magnitude as some of you may have faced in the past.

No I am not disilusioned with Dr. Barragan who has been my primary dentist since we moved to Mexico in 2001 and will always be so be so as long as he and I continue to occupy the planet. I posted this note as I am seeking a specialist in teeth implants which is, I believe, an arcane discipline limited to a few practitioners and I taKe certain medications that render me susceptable to bleeding but, gringal, your sense of humor is, as always, appreciated by Hound Dog if a bit obscure for some readers not as acquainted with you as am I. Not a bad shot however, if a bit undisciplined.

Perhaps others with gum problems requiring dental care would have more useful responses to my serious inquiry.

That WAS a serious inquiry in this case, Bubba. Both my husband and I signed up with Dr. Barragan as our primary destist on your very own advice and have been happy with his care for years now. I assume from your post that he does not himself do the type of dental work you seek. We would appreciate your recommendation re whoever does your future work successfully.

Dra. Candy just east of HSBC across from WalMart. She has a brand new office. She is excellent.

I hve used Dental Express for a couple of years and have been more than happy with them.

They do implants and as of now, frm what I read, they are really doing SOTA procedures.

I would suggest you get a free consultation, detail your concerns (make sure you can list all your meds, prescription or OTC) and see what they say. And BTW, the owner speaks perfect English.

Lastly, after you talk to as many specialists, do some due dilligence and Google your concerns and see what other speialists suggest/say.

My dentist is also Dr. Barragan- he is the best! I am currently having an implant procedure at his office with Dr. Edgar- the oral surgeon and implant specialist that Dr. Barragan uses. He is wonderful! I have had a few procedures done by him and cannot praise him enough. I am confused as to why you feel you have to go elsewhere to have your dental work done. He is at the office twice a week, and if an emergency arises, you would be taken care of.
