Metropolis is a big music store in Guad, and the whole neighborhood is music stores - from pianos to kazoos.

We're taking the bus.

Lipstick case of brass or brass pipe from hardware store
For a capo, use #2 pencil and a strong rubber band

I need to take a trip there myself. Can you give some more elaborate directions to Metropolis or do you just cab it from the bus station?

Smartalex, a simple Google search revealed the following:

Thanks, CG.

Smartalex, this is the map I've used in the past:
https://maps.google.com/maps?q=metropolis+guadalajara+tienda+musica&hl=en&ll=20.648527,-103.267407&spn=0.01018,0.01929&fb=1&gl=us&hq=metropolis+guadalajara+tienda+musica&cid=0,0,15902494265166336932&t=h&z=16&iwloc=A

The bus comes in by Parque Azul (the big green patch lower center), all you have to do is walk over to 16th of Sept then walk toward Centro about 3 blocks and there it is on the right. Can't miss it, flashy and 2 story. Additionally, there are multiple music stores in the area, just cruise around about a 3 block radius and check them out. Have fun!

Metropoli, on 16 de Sept, is part of the well-known Hermes Music chain. They have a large selection and also do repairs of electronic items.
