Round Trip thru Nogalis Experience

All was good til Mazatlan....wife put 3 pesos in @ Pemex.....door wouldn't open ....she was yelling thru window..I can' get out....I said don't worry Deb...will pick you up on the way back......LMAO. Moving North, every military checkpoint pulled us over, the last 1 mile from US Border, insisting search. Driving new Ford Escape, loaded, including bags on top. The 2nd checkpoint wanted me to take bags off rack to be xrayed told him in broken Spanish I couldn't physically do it.....after 45 minutes on our way.

Roads getting better, @ Navajoa decided to take Periferico bypass to avoid city....big mistake......road is a mess....potholes everywhere.
Culican bypass is open, and they added 2 toll booths 25, and 57 pesos....but a great change......and faster. Far more security heading NOB
