need chiropractor recommendation
Hi everyone,
My chiropractor has moved back to the U.S. I am in need of recommendations for a chiropractor that uses modern, up to date procedures ( no neck cracking and twisting )
If you have personal experience with such a chiropractor I would appreciate his/her name and phone number.
Thanks !!

Did Dr. Youcha move back to the US? If it's not him, I'll look up a receipt with his address and phone number for you. He is located on the street behind El Torito on the corner. Let me know if he is gone so I don't bother to look up his phone #.

Dr. Victor Youcha, the best chiro I've ever had, is moving to an area near Vera Cruz to be the dean of a chiropractor school in the area. They are moving sometime in Oct. He is working with a chiro from Guadalajara who treats him, to take over his practice. I plan to try the new guy as he is getting additional training in Victor's techniques.

OK so I can't give you Victor's info since he will be leaving - unless you want a short term chiropractor. Let me know and I'll post his contact info - have to look for the last receipt.

Re: need chiropractor recommendation
My hubby won't be happy that Dr. Youcha is leaving but we still wish him the best.
Why wait? Dr. Youcha's office number is 766-1973
Even if the OP needs longer term care, I would rather have Dr. Youcha assess him now and be able to pass on the info to his replacement.

And maybe the new person will have learned enough to carry on treatment.

Re: need chiropractor recommendation
If Dr. Youcha is himself already receiving chiropractic treatment from his replacement, then I'm pretty sure he already comes with impressive credentials.

Re: need chiropractor recommendation
FYI Dr. Youcha has been given a teaching position at a Mexican
Chiropractic school. Mexico will benefit from his knowledge we
will miss him. He can adjust people from the front. He was very
gentle and effective. Nice person to hang with also. My wife
and I will miss them. This is a big deal for the Dr. and we should
support the man and give him congrats!! Think of how many people
will be helped by him teaching his methods. Our backs will miss
him but I think it great for him. He has the opportunity of creating
some great medical education programs in his new job.

What an amazing oportunity for Dr. Youcha and good fortune for his students... I can see how he would make an excellent teacher, he has a lot of passion for his profesion.
So congratulations, Youcha Vic! We hope you will be very happy in your new life.

Hi, All --- This thread is a few years old, but I thought I'd append to it rather than start a new one.... The question stands: any recommendations for a chiropractor lakeside? Chapala Centro would be ideal.

Dr. Youcha is still in town. He's in west Ajijic just below the Sky Fitness Center. Mountain side of carretera and just to the west of El Serape. His number is 766-1973. He's worth the drive from Chapala and beyond.

Re: need chiropractor recommendation
Excuse me but this is old and out of date. Dr. Youcha is in town but leaving at end of week to visit family NOB. Not sure if he has any openings before he leaves. He is an extremely gentle Chiro guy and a great friend of many of his patients. He has been teaching in Mexico but stays here at practice at his Clinic under Sky Gym/Berel paint store. I never trusted Chiro guys but I trust Victor and his skills. We are extremely lucky to have him here. It is to our benefit that Dr. Victor did not leave to teach. Someday we will lose him as his talent and knowledge is immense and I am a skeptical guy for me to say this says a lot. For Disclosure purposes my family are both patients and good friends with Victor.

Re: need chiropractor recommendation
I really wish posters would start new threads with their questions instead of digging up old ones. It can get confusing as we see here.

Re: need chiropractor recommendation
I'm sorry for the confusion, Lady Otter. I've sometimes got the exact opposite reaction; that is, folks wished that a poster would hew to existing threads, even old ones, rather than start new ones when a lot of the relevant info might be in the old ones. I'm not sure which way is best, or is preferred on this board.

Re: need chiropractor recommendation
I appreciate posters first looking for existing information. But, if they still have questions or want to be sure information is current I prefer a new post. However, that is just me. There are no rules about this. It is just how people choose to do it. I am pointing out that sometimes it can cause confusion.

Re: need chiropractor recommendation
A lot depends on how old the thread is. If it is a month or two old, and the poster feels they need additional information, add the question. If it is 2 - 3 years old, WHY??? make people skim through a dozen posts to see that the new person is asking?

Re: need chiropractor recommendation
Ah, I hadn't noticed/remembered that the threads are always presented oldest-item-first, so you have to take the extra steps of jumping to the last page in the thread and then scrolling to the bottom just to see what's new. It may even be that this is noted in the posting rules and I didn't think to check. I apologise.
